Three medium-sized luxury cruise ships make up the Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ fleet
operating to more than 300 ports across all seven continents.
The US all-suite, all balcony line will have all its vessels refurbished by next
year at a cost of $70 million.
The 490-passenger Seven Seas Navigator is to undergo a 22-night makeover in dry
dock in January 2010.
The 700-passenger Seven Seas Voyager and Seven Seas Mariner were both revamped early
this year.
Next year’s cruise schedule covers 92 cruises ranging in duration from seven nights
in Alaska, Europe and the Caribbean to a 119-night world voyage on Seven Seas Voyager
from San Diego featuring performances by the Beach Boys and American TV comic Jay
Leno.
The inclusive nature of RSSC sailings, with all soft drinks, fine wines, premium
spirits, dining, 24-hour room service on board gratuities has been enhanced with
the company offering free shore excursions throughout 2010 after the initiative
proved successful on 59 departures this year.
Free flights to connect to selected cruises worldwide are also being provided in
2010.
The most popular destinations from British passengers on RSSC ships are proving
to be the Mediterranean, Baltic Sea and Alaska.
New destinations covered in 2010 include Antarctica.
Seven Seas Voyager will run a series of seven, ten and 14-night itineraries to the
Baltic and Russia in summer 2010 together with a 15-night sailing through the Norwegian
fjords to the Arctic Circle. The ship will sail in the Mediterranean in the autumn
on ten and 14-night voyages.
Seven Seas Mariner will offer a summer season of Mediterranean cruises of between
seven and 14-night durations throughout next summer.
