The casual cruise line’s last summer in the Mediterranean features the original Ocean Village ship covering seven different itineraries.
The laid back brand is being finally phased out at the end of next summer, with the Ocean Village ships being used to operate for P&O Cruises in Australia.
The final summer of Ocean Village in the Med sees first time cruisers targeted with two peak season seven-night fly-cruises sailing from Palma in Majorca to destinations such as Rome, Monte Carlo and Barcelona.
A series of early and late season departures from Crete take in classic destinations such as Venice, Istanbul and Cairo as well as a number of Greek islands.
Two one-off departures introduce a fresh and different itinerary mix.
Sailing in July from Crete to Majorca and in September from Majorca back to Crete, these options feature the new ports of Messina (Sicily), Marmaris (Turkey), La Spezia (Italy), Cagliari (Sardinia) and Toulon (France) – as well as destinations little-visited by Ocean Village such as Malta, Mykonos, Cephalonia and Santorini.
Besides impressive spa facilities, Ocean Village includes bistros devised by TV celebrity chef James Martin and a range of activities both on board and ashore.
Ocean Village also runs island-hopping Caribbean fly-cruises this winter.
