This is a great ship. Cleanliness is second to none. Staff are all very helpful and friendly. We did the formal bit, hubbies wore kilts. It was an elegant experience and I would certainly go with P & O again. People told us beforehand that we would be cold etc but we lay on the decks half of the time we were on board and the weather was in the 70s so no, it wasn't "baltic" when we were there. It was mostly older people but do you know what, they made very interesting conversation to us 60 year olds!!
Don't be afraid to book this ship, it meets and exceeds your expectations. We had an inside cabin with couch and queen size bed. It was great. We had a fridge also and because it was a 14 day cruise we used the laundry in the middle of the holiday. It had several washing machines, tumble dryers and at least four ironing boards /irons. No charge except for soap powder we used. So hey presto we were ready for the second week. Don't be tempted to pack too much as you can launder like us or they have 2 special offers during the cruise for x amount of items for a set fee. We can't wait to book another holiday, hopefully the same ship but in the Med next year.
