as with my first cruise with ocean village 2 i cannot fault the ship or crew my only concern with this cruise was the action ashore trip my family and i did to cairo and the pyramids and the nile, we were not told until we boarded the bus that we would be travelling in a convoy of 13 buses with an armed guard and a security guard on every other bus,the meal on a nile boat was good but the trouble began as soon as we got of the bus at the pyramids, everyone was bombarded with really persistant people trying to sell you what can only be described as rubbish and when i say persistant i really do mean persistant, they were so persistant that while my son and myself went inside a pyramid,my wife and daughter were so harrassed by these sellers that my 12yr old daughter got so scared of them she ran off crying and was pulled onto another bus by the driver who kindly gave her a tissue to dry her eyes, whilst this was going on my wife had to give the seller 30 egyption pounds to get rid of him and got nothing for it, So i think we were let down by ocean village who should have warned people of the problems with these sellers, as a result my daughter was nervous about going ashore at every port we called at, myself the pyramids ive always wanted to see, but theres a true saying once bitten twice shy never again for me, Apart from the problems at the pyramids the cruise was all it was advertised as brilliant and the crew were as ever fantastic and hard working to please everyone and they did please everyone, apart from one day our holday was superb
