Cruises from Harwich

It’s easy to take the hassle out of joining your ship by cruising from Harwich. The East Coast port acts as a starting point for many voyages to Scandinavia, the Baltics, Norwegian Fjords, North Cape, Mediterranean and around Britain and Ireland.

Harwich benefits from good road and rail connections from London, the Midlands and the South East. Royal Caribbean International will be running 12-night Scandinavia and Russia cruises from Harwich in summer 2010 with the family-friendly 2,110-passenger Jewel of the Seas, one of the line’s contemporary Radiance-class vessels.

Also sailing from the port between May and August will be Voyages of Discovery, with itineraries taking in the Baltics, Norway, and Greenland. Harwich cruise terminal provides passenger facilities including a lounge, café, newsagents and currency exchange. There are 20 check-in desks to allow for a smooth embarkation process.

There is secure parking for 400 cars, baggage handling and porterage services. The terminal building has an adjacent coach park capable of handling 60 vehicles.
